Mr. Sheerman

asked the Secretary of State for Employment, for each of the years April to March 1980–81, 1981–82, 1982–83 and 1983–84, what was (a) the total number of entrants and (b) the average number of young people on the following schemes: (i) the youth opportunities programme, (ii) the youth training scheme, (iii) unified vocational preparation and (iv) the training for skills programme.
