Information for 1983 is not yet available.

§ Mr. HurdThe readily available information on suspects not charged with an offence refers to those given formal cautions by the police, and is published annually, by offence group, in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales, Supplementary Tables" — in table S4.11 of Volume 4 for 1982. Any further information on adult males, who have been suspected of, but not charged with, having unlawful sexual intercourse with girls under 16 years of age could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
