§ Mr. Peter WalkerI strongly support the proposals my marketing advisers have made about establishing a system of energy labelling for houses. Much more needs to be done so that when people buy a house they are aware how much energy it is likely to consume and how efficiently that energy will be used. I have therefore called a meeting involving leading building societies, estate agents, surveyors and builders, to discuss my marketing advisers' proposals. This will take place on Monday 21 May.
