asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give a breakdown by employment region of the increase in the number of people at work between September and December 1983 referred to in his statement on the Department of Employment press notice of 18 April.

Estimates of the seasonally adjusted change in the size of the unemployed labour force are not available for regions. The following table gives the changes in the estimated number of employees in employment; the figures on which these changes are based are not seasonally adjusted.
