§ 21. Mr. Stanbrookasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proportion of surplus milk production in the European Community is exported to developing countries in the form of milk products under the Community's aid programme.
§ Mr. MacGregor36,500 tonnes of butteroil and 150,000 tonnes of skimmed milk powder were made available to certain developing countries and specialised bodies under the Community's 1983 food aid programme. These quantities were equivalent to about 4.5 per cent. and 7.5 per cent. , respectively, of the estimated Community surplus of milk in 1983 expressed as butteroil and skimmed milk powder.
