§ Mr. Peter WalkerThere are 10 registered disabled persons in my Department. This represents 0.9 per cent. of the total number of employees on 1 March 1984. Their grades and sex are as follows:

§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will extend his energy conservation campaign by considering capital grants to those in receipt of a heating allowance to enable more fuel efficient heating systems to be installed.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithAs part of its co-ordinating role the Energy Efficiency Office is examining with other Departments ways in which relevant Government programmes might be concentrated on assisting low income groups to improve their fuel use. My hon. Friend's suggestion will be taken into account in the context of that examination.
