§ Mr. WaldegraveThe inquiry lasted two days and the inspector took a further four days to prepare his report to the Secretary of State. His annual salary in May 1983 was £19,730. The Department's other administrative costs are not identified separately in respect of any single inquiry. I am unable to provide information about costs incurred by the Yorkshire water authority and the other public bodies that attended the inquiry.
