asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether all service men serving with the RHA Chestnut troop in Hohne, West Germany, have been able to take their full leave entitlement to date.

In the leave year ending 31 March 1984 two thirds of the personnel of RHA Chestnut troop have been able to take the full entitlement of six weeks' leave. All the remainder have taken at least three weeks' leave and the majority have taken at least four weeks. More leave will be taken when the unit returns from exercises on 23 March. Those personnel who have been unable to take their full entitlement may apply to carry forward up to two weeks' leave into the next leave year.
