asked the Secretary of State for Employment what cuts have been made in the numbers of entrants to mode B1 of youth training schemes; and how many youthline places will be affected.

Nationally there will be provision for up to 70,000 entrants to mode B1 of the youth training scheme in 1984–85. A decision on the number of places to be made available on the youthline scheme in Redbridge and Waltham Forest has yet to be taken.
