HC Deb 12 March 1984 vol 56 cc5-6W
Mr. Corbett

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the cost to public funds of police activities at the Waterloo Cup hare coursing event at Altcar, Merseyside, on 22 February; and how many police officers needed medical attention.

Mr. Hurd

The chief constable of Lancashire, whose force includes Altcar, tells me that the estimated additional cost of the policing was about £2,300, and that no officer needed medical attention.
