asked the Secretary of State for Energy when he expects to reply to the first report of the Energy Committee of Session 1983–84.

Mr. Peter Walker

The report contains a number of recommendations and I am considering them carefully. I expect to reply to it within the time scale recommended by the Procedure Committee.
