§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe energy efficiency office aims to encourage the adoption of cost-effective energy efficient measures. In respect of combined heat and power—district heating, the office has undertaken a programme of work to test its economic and practical feasibility in specific locations. I expect to make a statement on combined heat and power shortly.
