asked the Secretary of State for Wales when he next proposes to meet the chairman of British Rail to discuss investment plans.

I had a very useful discussion with the chairman of British Rail as recently as December last year. I have at present no plans for a further meeting, but I am always ready to discuss with him matters of concern to Wales.
