§ Mr. AncramReservoir levels and river flows in Scotland are generally lower than usual for this time of year. A few hosepipe bans are in force, or under consideration, mainly as precautionary measures, in some rural areas. The position is, however, at present satisfactory and is not causing the water authorities undue concern.
