asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the number of people in Dundee currently employed on special employment programmes.

[pursuant to his reply, 15 June 1984 c. 598]: The table shows the number of people in Dundee supported on the Government's special employment measures at 31 May 1984, the latest date for which the information is available. In addition, 1059 young people in Dundee had places on the youth training scheme.
