§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will give, for each county in 73W England, the amount of grant paid under the farm capital grant scheme, the expenditure and the number of claims to which that figure relates and the amount of land benefiting from land drainage schemes for the purposes of reclamation or improvement since January 1980.
§ Mrs. FennerI regret that data on field drainage schemes are not recorded by county. The number of payments, eligible cost and grant paid by the Ministry's divisional offices in England since January 1980 is attached. Information is not collected on whether drainage schemes are specifically for the reclamation of land or of the area which may benefit from the scheme.
