§ 25. Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has held with his European and United States counterparts concerning the increasing number of international terrorist incidents.
§ Mr. WhitneyMy right hon. and learned Friend discussed terrorism with his colleagues in the Ten on 14 May and on 23 July. Work on this topic continues within the Community. A declaration on terrorism was issued following discussion at the London economic summit in June and the topic has been raised on several occasions in his bilateral talks with the United States Secretary of State. We have received considerable support in these discussions for a number of our proposals for action against terrorism.
