Whether they will list the names of organisations normally invited to submit the names of persons for consideration for appointment to the Meat and Livestock Commission.
§ The Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Lord Belstead)Appointments to the Meat and Livestock Commission are made jointly by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretaries of State for Scotland and Wales. In respect of seven of the 10 members, nominations are invited as appropriate from those producer or trade organisations which are designated for consultation by the commission; and Ministers have regard to these nominations, along with other relevant1810WA considerations, when making appointments. The list of organisations is as follows:
