§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will (a) give the amount of expenditure on (i) repairs, (ii) improvement, (iii) conversion and (iv) standard amenity grants both in Scotland and in each local authority district in the financial years from 1979–80 to 1983–84 and (b) show how much of this expenditure was given to owner-occupiers, landlords and private developers;
(2) if he will (a) give the total numbers of (i) repairs grants, (ii) improvement grants and (iii) other grants made both in Scotland and in each local authority district in ale financial years from 1979–80 to 1983–84 and (b) show how many of these were made to owner-occupiers, landlords, and private developers.
§ Mr. AncramInformation by districts on grants approved and grants paid in the financial year 1979–80 and in the calendar years 1980 and 1981 is published in Scottish Housing Statistics Nos. 11, 14 and 18, respectively: no breakdown of information is available as between developers and landlords or other persons who are not owner-occupiers. I shall write to the hon. Member with details for 1982 and 1983.
