§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if his Department will give financial assistance towards keeping St. George's hall, Liverpool, in use.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinMy Department has already contributed through the urban programme to the cost of a feasibility study by consultants on possible future uses of the hall.
I have recently been asked by Liverpool city council for a meeting to discuss the hall and I have agreed to this. It is too early at this stage to say whether we can provide any further assistance.
