§ 50. Mr. Stuart Hollandasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress he can report on the Lomé III negotiations.
§ Mr. RaisonI attended the fourth negotiating conference of ACP and EC Ministers in Luxembourg on 28–30 June. There was useful progress in a number of areas, notably substantial agreement on the text of financial and technical cooperation chapter. There was 355W disappointingly little progress on trade matters. It is hoped that outstanding issues can now be resolved by a smaller ministerial negotiating group.
