asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many trade and export promotion exercises were funded or otherwise supported by his Department in the last convenient 12-month period for which records are available.

Mr. Channon

The British Overseas Trade Board provides a wide range of export promotion services and assistance and takes initiatives to bring opportunities to the notice of United Kingdom exporters. Details are given in the 1983 BOTB annual report which is available in the Library.
