§ Mr. RidleyIn its corporate plan for 1983–88, British Rail forecasts investment charged to its capital and revenue accounts which, converted to 1982 prices would amount to £339 million in 1984, £409 million in 1985 and £386 million in 1986. This excludes expenditure on continuous welded rail amounting to about £90 million in each year.
