asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the numbers and percentages of general practitioner principals in each health board area who have consented to arrange for deputising service at night and weekends.

Information on the numbers and percentage of general medical practitioners who at 1 October 1983 had obtained Health Board consent to enter into regular or standing arrangements with a deputising service is as follows:
