Mr. Clifford Forsythe

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many supplementary benefit claims disallowed by the Antrim local office have been allowed on appeal.

During 1983 a total of 61 decisions to disallow claims for supplementary benefit at Antrim social security office were allowed on appeal, 48 by benefit officers and 13 by the supplementary benefit appeal tribunal.
