Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) if he will make a statement on the status of relations between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of the People's Republic of North Korea;

(2) if he will make a statement on the current relations between Her Majesty's Government and North Korea.

Mr. Luce

We do not recognise North Korea as a state and have no diplomatic relations with any authorities there.
