asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he has now studied the findings of the board of inquiry into the death of Mrs. Sheila Wenham; what conclusions he has drawn concerning the safety of the Stoney Castle field firing range and Ash electric target range; and if he will make a statement.

The board of inquiry report is now under consideration. The Stoney Castle field firing range and the Ash electric target range will remain closed, at least until its findings have been fully assessed.
