§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what changes in the structure, methods or coverage of the tenants exchange scheme in England are under consideration; and whether any is likely to be implemented.
§ Sir George YoungSome minor changes are now under consideration following a review by my Department of the operation of the tenants exchange scheme.
§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list, on a monthly basis from its inception to the most recent month for which figures are available, the number of public sector tenants who have applied to the tenants exchange scheme for assistance in finding tenants in other areas with whom they might effect an exchange of tenancies.
§ Sir George YoungNumbers of registrations are as follows. The numbers of tenants involved are slightly less, as the figures include some re-registrations, and some tenants have registered more than once in order to have their details displayed in different parts of the country.
