asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish the figures in table X of "Road Accidents in Great Britain 1982" for all years from that immediately before the coming into force of the Road Safety Act 1967 to 1983.

All figures available to the Department from 196i to 1979 are published in TRRL leaflet No. 912, issue 2, a copy of which is available in the Library. Figures for the years 1979 to 1982 are found in table X of "Road Accidents in Great Britain 1982". Figures for 1983 will not be available until later in 1984.
