§ Sir Dudley Smithasked the the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will assist the India Welfare Society in its new campaign to encourage Indian families in the United Kingdom to adopt and help lonely retirement pensioners.
§ Mr. john PattenTo date no approach for assistance has been made by the India Welfare Society to the Department but we shall, of course, consider any representations which we receive.
