§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the reply of 19 January to the hon. Member for Billericay, Official Report, c. 441, how many persons are eligible for repatriation assistance under (a) the two former schemes and (b) the new single scheme.
§ Mr. WaddingtonIt is not possible to estimate the number of persons who might meet either the present or the shortly to be revised criteria for assistance with the expenses of repatriation, but some more people will be eligible for assistance under the new arrangements than under the old.
