Mr. Ron Davies

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the expenditure on derelict land reclamation schemes in Wales, year by year from 1974 to the latest available date expressed both in cash terms and at constant prices.

The Welsh Development Agency took over responsibility for derelict land reclamation from the Welsh Office in 1976. Total expenditure since 1974 on derelict land schemes funded by the Welsh Development Agency and on Welsh Office projects approved before 1976 was as follows:
