§ Mr. TrippierThere are 233 local enterprise agencies in existence, including all those organisations which, under section 48 of the Finance Act 1982, have been approved as local enterprise agencies. Some 35 more are in varying stages of formation.
§ Mr. Gregoryasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many local enterprise agencies have been approved for tax relief.
§ Mr. TrippierI am pleased to say that to date 185 local enterprise agencies have been approved for tax relief purposes.
