§ Mr. Gouldasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what arrangements for the Vosper Shiprepairers Limited pension fund will be made following privatisation; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Butcher[pursuant to his reply, 7 December 1984, c. 315]: Vosper Shiprepair Ltd. employees are currently members of the British Shipbuilders pension scheme. Pension arrangements following privatisation will be a matter for the new owners of the company. The employees will be able to remain members of the British Shipbuilders pension scheme for a limited period while any new pension arrangements are introduced.
