asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what information he has concerning ventures which have been jointly undertaken by chemical groups in the United Kingdom with enterprises in member countries of COMECON for the purpose of producing polyurethane for domestic and export markets.

[pursuant to his reply, 7 December 1984, c. 315]: I am not aware that any chemical group in the United Kingdom is or has been involved jointly with any enterprise in a member country of COMECON in a venture for the production of polyurethane for domestic or export purposes.
