§ Mr. John Stradling ThomasEleven local enterprise agencies are now operating in Wales directly employing 65 people. They estimate that they have been instrumental in creating or safeguarding a total of some 4,400 jobs.
Information is not available about the total financial support for these agencies which receive funding from a variety of sources. Urban programme contributions during the current financial year amount to £135,900.
