§ Mr. RaisonMr. Nigel L. Wicks, formerly of Her Majesty's Treasury, was appointed as United Kingdom executive director to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank with effect from 2 May 1983. Since he is resident in Washington, Mr. Wicks has not had direct discussions with me about the bank's 1984 world development report, which focused on population matters. However, the Overseas Development Administration did provide briefing on this aspect of the report to Mr. Wicks prior to its publication.
