HC Deb 01 August 1984 vol 65 c271W
Mr. David Young

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, in view of casualties and civilian treatment since July 1982, what were the medical concerns expressed about the existing Port Stanley hospital in the Falkland Islands.

Mr. Whitney

Although there were obvious extra demands for space in the former King Edward memorial hospital in the aftermath of the Falklands conflict, we are satisfied that the general standard of medical care was good.
