HC Deb 30 April 1984 vol 59 c55W
Mrs. Renée Short

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give details of the projects so far approved as part of the central initiative to improve services for mental illness in old age.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

I refer the hon. Member to my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Staffordshire, Moorlands (Mr. Knox) on 15 November 1983 at columns443–44 which gave brief details of 27 schemes. Since then a further project has been approved in the Oxford region. The East Berkshire health authority has been given support with the development of a community team service.
