HC Deb 30 April 1984 vol 59 c28W
Mr. Ron Davies

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what representations he has received concerning land slippage at Senghenydd.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

I received representations in October last year from Mid-Glamorgan county council and from the parents of two children at school in the area concerned with the need to stabilise the slip if a new school were to be built on an adjoining site. It is for the county council to take such action as they may consider appropriate or necessary.

Mr. Ron Davies

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has received a copy of the National Coal Board's recent report on land slippage at Senghenydd.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

No such report has been received.
