asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in his consideration of the risk assessment study for Mossmorran and Braefoot bay, he will commission further research on and take special note of possible risks to safety during loading operations at Braefoot bay.

Following representations by the Queen Victoria school, Dunblane and Central regional council, my Department has agreed to extend the 30 mph speed limit northwards for a distance of approximately 210 metres to a point just north of the southern entrance to the school. The necessary speed limit order is now being prepared.
