Whether they will summarise the response made to Cmnd. 9063 and accompanying consultation papers by: (a) The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy; (b) the Society of Metropolitan Treasurers; (c) the Society of County Treasurers.

Her Majesty's Government have received a very large number of responses to Cmnd. 9063. They are currently being analysed. The noble Lord must await the summary analysis of the main points arising from consultation which will be issued as soon as possible.
