§ Mr. John MacKayThe information is given in the following table:

§ Mr. Allan StewartInformal discussions have taken place between officials of the Scottish Education Department and of the regional authorities with responsibility for the colleges affected by the Secretary of State's announcement of 19 July 1983, but further consideration of the implications of the transfers is awaiting a formal response from the authorities to my right hon. Friend's decisions in principle. We have no specific proposals regarding courses to make at this stage, and my right hon. Friend has already indicated that the interests of staff and students will be taken into account.
