asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he intends to visit Israel in the near future.

Mr. Hurd

At present my right hon. Friend has no plans to visit Israel. The then Foreign Secretary, my right hon. and noble Friend Lord Carrington, paid an official visit to Israel on 31 March to 1 April last year.
