§ 39. Mr. Cohenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what requests have been made by Her Majesty's Government of the Moroccan 433W Government in regard to the proposed Arab League delegation's visit to the United Kingdom; and what response was received.
§ Mr. HurdThe proposal that His Majesty King Hassan II of Morocco, in his capacity as chairman of the Fez Commission, should lead an Arab League delegation visit to London was made originally by the Moroccan Government. We warmly welcomed this initiative and we are at the moment discussing arrangements for a programme which we hope will take place on 18 March.
