§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy if, in order to expedite the sale of the British Gas Corporation's interest in the Wytch Farm oilfield, he will arrange for its disposal under the Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Act 1982 instead of under the provisions of the Gas Act 1972.
§ Mr. John MooreArrangements for the sale of the British Gas Corporation's interest in PL.089, which includes the Wytch Farm oilfield, are already well advanced, and therefore I have no plans to change the legal basis for the disposal.
