§ Mr. Lathamasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will outline the next steps, both statutory and in regard to public consultation, which he will take regarding the proposed bypass on the A52 road at Bottesford, Leicestershire, following the recent public exhibition in the village.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe next stage in the preparation of this scheme will be the publication of draft orders covering the line of the proposed route, the side roads affected by it and the acquisition of land.
Consultation will continue with all those having an interest in the proposals and affected by them.
Should there be objections to the draft orders, we will then consider whether a public inquiry is necessary.
