asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they are aware that the capacity of that part of the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, which is housed within the residential Sir Ludwig Guttmann Unit for Young Disabled has been reduced from 30 to 20 beds.

The young disabled unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital is not part of the spinal injuries centre. The assignment of beds in the unit is a matter for the Aylesbury Vale Health Authority.
