Whether they will place in the library of the House a copy of an English translation of a letter addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations by Xanana Gusmao, military commander of Fretilin, requesting the Secretary-General to send. a mission to East Timor, calling for the withdrawal 1420WA of troops from the territory, and asking for his assistance in promoting an act of self-determination, in accordance with the resolution of the General Assembly on East Timor of November 1982.
