HL Deb 25 July 1983 vol 443 c1420WA
Baroness Jeger

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will consult the Royal British Legion and other service charities about possible assistance to war widows who wish to visit their husbands' graves, in cases where this is practicable.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces (Lord Trefgarne)

The Royal British Legion arrange visits on a limited scale to war cemeteries in Europe and North Africa. My department already consults them about these visits.
